Tomorrows are for the faint of heart
Afraid to commit, reluctant to start
Our country was built on todays
By folks compelled not to stray
From what’s right and just for all
A declaration signed to heed the call
Seek truth to set you free
Stand alone and state your plea
Our country was founded by those who believe
Never again to be deceived
Shout from hilltops your freedom bought
By those minutemen who prayed and fought
Land of the free, home of the brave
We sing before the game is played
Our country was conceived by sacred blood
Foot soldiers whose bodies lay buried in mud
Stand tall and be counted, prepared to pay
For another life to enjoy today
Hollow words need not remain
Join fellow citizens and echo the refrain
Our country belongs to the strong of heart
Equality and freedom shall never part
Be proud of your heritage as an American
Apart we fall but united we stand
