A Spanish holiday for you
To enjoy the exquisite view
Couples walk by the sea
Alone with their fantasy
Now a tourist attraction
To receive peaceful satisfaction
The countryside filled with olive trees
In proportioned rows to see
Harvesting the crop by hand
In temperate soil once ruled by Ferdinand
The white villages dot the valleys
Where tents once defined Rub’ al Khali
Muslims and Christians impart
Gothic and renaissance art
Spaniards and Brits combine
To defeat Napoleon in his time
A land of mountains second to the Swiss
With hidden towns not to miss
Trades mentored by father to son
Where quality is second to none
A people proud of their land
Worked by their own hand
This beautiful country of hope
Where lovers choose to elope
