What is that gnawing that tears apart my mind?
Consumed by fear my eyes go blind
Rationality appears a mystery
My mind implodes without history
Thoughts travel at lightning speed
Impossible to think or to read
Imagine no memories to share
No one to love or to care
Alone and mute, eyes open wide
All systems shut down and no where to hide
Promised help never comes
Total defeat after all is done
Faceless bodies surround this mass
Fragmented thoughts caught in a morass
Limbs move but don’t feel attached
My mind’s door permanently unlatched
Pictures serve no purpose here
Except to remind me what I fear
Broken relationships forever adrift
By endless currents shallow and swift
No sparkle of hope to set me free
No open book for all to see
Totally cut off from human touch

My book of poetry is being redone by me, I have a beautiful cover designed and the book will have a few more than 200 poems in it. I am going to have it printed on demand here in Canada. When it is done I will let you know when it is done and if anyo
