love may come and go but if we learn and teach and enjoy its company, it can't be a bad experience ... only love that is "selfish" leaves us empty and unfulfilled ... excellent poem ...

What happened to love? Progress. That is the culprit. Nowadays love runs second fiddle to almost everything else. A lot of poems are written about it, a lot of people profess to WANT it, but no one seems to care to struggle through the bad times in order to keep it. Good poem.
