You are in Africa I am here You are among beautiful lands I am with empty hands. I long to hold you I can’t reach that far A few miles or an entire countryside doesn’t matter you are not by my side I have no shoulder to cry on No eyes to see feelings put on hold words unspoken many desires untold I cry for you just to be near I dream of you loneliness shares a tear Why I must ask “Do I love you so much?” wanting you always within my touch.
