( I wrote this poem just for fun, so to all of the poets who do not rhyme... pleaase don't take this too seriously)
I pray that God will someday bless, and help us
clean up all this mess: racial barriers and political
differences, scientists making illogical inferences;
all these scams and white collar crime, top notch
poets that don't even rhyme - conmen and theives,
and ass kissin' whimps; modernized gangsters
and space age pimps.

Love, love, love it, Harold! I think this is wonderful. It tackles serious topics but in a sufficiently "light" way so as not to bog the reader's spirit down.
You speak such truth in this...but in the meantime, we're here to enjoy and live life, and to try to clean up the things that you have written, about as best we can, so that we and our children can enjoy a better world. I am not part of those who believe that "the world is going to hell in a hand basket." I see the world as a special place that WE are to take care of as our Father would want us to. Good writing!

I don't think anything will be cleaned up till Jesus comes again. Nearly every day in my little town I hear of shootings and robberies, so sad. I miss the days the world was a safe place to be.
