“The Day of Deliverance”

The link is loose and the

chains undone, I

waited all day

for night to come.

No more wounds

from fear nor

injured by doubt

walls torn down

inside out.

Darkness disappears as

the winds blow, and

from the fire flies

red and orange glow.

I’ve taken shelter

From the poison

rain, in this place there’s

no name.

I dance with

possibilities, having

all to gain. His

healing finger tips

touching my

eyes, ears and lips.

I am willing to stand

still, to cry

without weeping

to talk without

speaking

to scream without

raising my voice

why, because he gave the

choice to hear the angles

voice.

Across the view 

skies opened as the

waves instilled

the ocean. It is rare, like thorns from a rose.
