“Born Again”

She has seen plenty, and at times felt she learned nothing as she repeats the same obstacles, returning to start them again; and wondering the point at times. There are days she felt as though she’s sitting in a path of a storm, while powerful winds threaten to dismantle her entire landscape. Wanting out, of the relationship of feeling totally helpless, to stop. She tried to stay focus on the positive out come although negativity was always around. She turned to God in prayer to at least keep a portion of peace, trying to rely on his word, but the natural realm always eases its way in causing what light she had to dim as though the very essence of her, being stolen. Her soul being controlled to the point she did not know herself anymore. This method has become profound and she has been striped of her womanly pride. Trials and tribulations come and continue to come as she struggles through what is seemingly a worthless life. Oh but God is truly in the midst of her weakness, strengthening her in the same areas she finds to be profound. It’s morning and finally awakened by the light that touched her heart, opening blinded eyes to see true colors of spring. Suddenly, that burst of energy reveals itself and she is ready to take on the world as she carries it on her shoulders. Heavy as it may be, she is finding the load easier to carry. Why she wondered? There is nothing different she can see with her eyes about her situation, but she realized in her heart that it is not the same. At that point, that was all that mattered. Her life was turning around from within, and it was welcomed feelings that grow everyday, the more she looked to the sky, the less she cried. Amazing, so amazing she thought. Her heart changed, her thought changed, her talk changed and her walk changed. Anew, she welcomed. Anew her GOD became.
