This is the very first Valentine's
When I won't be on Manresa Retreat
My wife surely expects many love signs
I pray to truly listen and be sweet
How will I seek to convey what I feel?
Per poetry or roses that brings her to tears?
All I know is that it had better be for real
And not any appliance which she likes from Sears!
She's hinted for a nice Juban's outing
An intimate and sumptuous meal
Unlike Thomas, I'd better not be doubting
Or who knows what anger she may reveal?
So guys let's be romantic and prepare
To honor all the gals whom we cherish
They only want to know that our hearts care
If not, welcome to the doghouse and perish!
