Weather, Weather,  Ever'war
 
The sun is out!   The sky is clear!
Maybe it will be a better New Year.
This is going to rankle if you're up to here.
In snow, dust, mud, and-or hail,  I fear.
 
Just that I had the S.A.D.
So I can't help but be glad
For a little good news about now.
All use some, huh.  An'-freakin'-how!
 
It you are bein' plagued by fog or drought,
I would, if I could, be helpin' ya out..
If the sun has deserted you completely,
Please know I am feelin' for ya deeply..
 
If you are under a kazillion feet of snow.
I am just as sorry as I can be.
If you are clingin' to an ice floe,
I pray for you to be rescued toot sweet!
 
If it is sleeting, may you be in by the fire.
Cozy-warm, with the snack of your desire.
If you have to go out, be sure to take care.
Make a snow angel or a snow bear?
 
If you just fried an egg on your front walk.
Hope a pool's near, an' shade t'park.
Maybe indoor tennis is your thing?
Up the AC,  peel, and toss the bling.
 
Wish I was into some season's sports.
Wish I was into any at all.
Exertion puts me out of sorts..
'Sides, I go splat and there goes the ball.

That, above all, will make my day.
Now I am going to pick up the mail
