My husband was diagnosed with prostate cancer. Sometimes because of his treatment he becomes depressed. This poem is about hope and dedicated to him.
IN THE NICK OF TIME When doubt does curl Your upper lip From joy into a frown. When simple living it does seem To sometimes get you down. Hold on my friend Into the night Hold on for strength You need to fight. Through the storm That faces you You aren’t alone It’s me and you. Remember when You thought you knew You were alone But didn’t you? Begin to pray And you did find He was there In the nick of time. Hold on fast To all you have. The blessings come Your way.
