I wrote this poem for my husband. He's the love of my life. I realize our time together in this life is limited. I want him to know he is everything to me.
I LOVE YOU I watch you walk across the room, You walk much slower now. The aches and pains that shout to us Slow us down somehow. The love I feel for you my friend Doesn’t seem to change, It’s only stronger in my heart And each day I seem to find, That I love you more today Than from the very start. The light is slowly fading as The years do seem to pass. But the spark you put Within My heart I must confess alas. It’s a raging flame That shant die out It glows throughout the day You are the one who share the fun, So hear me when I say. My love grows stronger and I confess You are the one who passed the test. I want to wake and sleep with you, I want to start the day anew. Our pace has slowed as we knew it would Our love still grows as we hoped it could. I used to love the way my hubby Tom walked, I can still see it now when I try to sleep. He had a very distinctive walk and was a very special person to me. I just bought an oval plastic photo frame and put a phot of him and I at our wedding feeding each other cake. It is on the kitchen wall. Oh those memories will never leave. We had a lovely fall garden wedding and fall leaves on photo are beautiful. Good you love your hubby so, that is the way it should be.

Kathy,if your husband reads this,he will be so appreciative and have a big smile on his face which I know he will.Its good to know that you 2 still love each other more than you did when you 2 first met and that love is still strong.The best thing about your poetry is the fact that you don't take his love for granted and vice versa .That is always important.He is everything to you,but dont forget you are everything to him as well :-).I enjoy reading this poem,take care of yourself
