Joy overcomes a fear of the gods
Coming to Grips I yearned for ecstasy but feared Just what the gods would say, If in my hand I took my joy And with it tried to play. “Insane you’ll go,” a stern voice warned, “If you dare stroke that putz.” I hesitated ‘till I thought: “Hey. I'm al-ready nuts!” Wooooooooheeeeeeeeee!

a beautiful poem about opening up and letting go. your humorous twist at the end is a way of enabling the reader to do just that. thanks
