I wrote this poem for a women I knew all too briefly, who appeared at a moment in my life when I needed her most.
A moment so perfect A moment now gone A moment of wonder That fades with the dawn The waking dream passes Leaving rents in my heart All is as it had been As it was from the start Our moment together Like honey so sweet Can not be diminished By hasty retreat The magic that had been Is too strong to keep Bottled too deeply Or buried too deep The moment has changed me That moment so pure For though it is over It has opened the door I could see in your eyes That you were changed too But the sin of it is There is nothing to do For you live in your world And I live in mine It should be forever A moment so fine

Just as bittersweet as her presence was to you then, this poem is perfectly set to a time in my life that is all bittersweet defines to be. This poem seaps pain and love with words of truth. Truly and honest pain stings me here. Great writing. You put it wonderfully. I loved reading this!!
