I do not want to see love around me until I have love of my own.

Request to the Sun

Oh sun!
Blind me with your scorching rays.
I do not want to see
The love burning before me ...

The flame of love,
It is everywhere I turn,
Haunting me,
Blazing through me,
Opening up the wounds of my ashen heart.

I am scarred by every flicker of love surrounding me,
A love that is not my own.
I am begging you sun,
Blind me with your scorching rays
Until I have my own fiery love to ignite me.

And there is nothing better than the "love of the sun itself" Did you know that when we eat we are essentially trying to obtain "old distilled sunlight" and that is where all the Vitamins are...D3 can save your Heart even if your other lovers fail you...PS: I visited Staten Island once back in 1980 or so when I lived in Manhattan -- it was amazingly quiet and a nice place to live. Do you still ride the ferry to the city?
