Where we perhaps giving celebration for the Native

American demise or perhaps for

the Pilgrims deceit?

Oops I am sorry was I treading on Traditions,

things hold dear close to the heart? 

Or maybe it was the turkey that was slaughtered.  

 sorry I guess we didn’t

so that makes it someone else's problem

As long as the blood is on someone else’s hand

It’s all right we can pretend, live in denial right?

That which is born from deceit is deceit 

That which is gained from murder is murder
