This is a beautiful poem Kay as all yours are,
this one is also very romantic yet very sad,
perhaps this fellow in it was too blind or foolish to realize he had your heart, and therefore he didn't deserve it anyway,
i beleive you are a very talented, lovely, loving woman and could do much better than give your heart to this fool you write about,
I wish you all the very best happiness in this new year and all those yet to come,

This is so superb Kay. Only I have a different take on it than the others. I shouldn't say it but it seems like a sad affair, that you gave him your heart, but he couldn't make the same commitment, so he gave yours back to you.Sorry if I'm wrong the poem is 100 % right. Just beautiful!
