I've seen John wayne
ride the plain
with herds of cattle near
and covered waggons
draggin'
treasures
pleasure
us all here.
Spurs and guns,
stampede runs,
buffallo and hide,
spittin' tar
hard and far
on some round up ride.
Texas tough...
( just movie stuff???)
where good guys meet at noon?
and bad guys demise to meet their doom.
Texas seems to gleam away all gloom.
Open fires in the night
guitar strumming for delight
haystack honey in check dress
making sugar there I guess.
