Last nite I had a visit... Some of you will know exactly what I mean....

Pix is of me smiling..even when I feel like crying...

The Visit -  by: LInda Law

It's been awhile since you've been to visit

Figure you're busy with things to do

They say He has jobs for all of you

Things are the same, the kids are fine

I hope you get to see my Gib sometime

Up and down,  you know my mixed up mind

Some days I cry and others I don't

Mostly I laugh at things others won't

Still much undone, but I'm working on them

Getting ready for the day that He'll call me home

In the meantime we're trying so we won't be alone

Last night I was feeling tired and sad, don't know why

Watched a movie, then felt numb inside...life just goes by

It was about then that I felt something cool brush my side

I looked all around, and nothing was there......except....

Remember that perfume that you loved to wear

It was all around my room...I'd swear you were there!

Mom, it's not easy being the mom...being strong all the time

And you know me...gotta be the shining star on the tree

Please come back and visit me...

I need you and miss you

says the child in me!

Your feelings of sadness and numbness were felt by her. She came to you to tell you that she still looks out over you. You are very lucky indeed, to have this connection with her...Bless you.
Peace, love, and angel light,

Sometimes moments like this are the catalyst to much more happening around one's self. I know what you write of here, Linda. Love, hugs, and blessings to you,

Regis

Oh Linda you are so right, When my Mom went to heaven I kept her bottleof perfume, I loved her smell when I hugged her and even now after 13 years when I smell her beauty I know she is here with me. You are not alone as so many of us go through this dear, wish I was there to ive you a hug and a chat with a nice cup of tea. You have a wonderful day.

Newfie hugs, Rose

Cherish the visits...as some still wait for them.
You have written a touching poem and I am sending you a hug.

It's been 18 years since my Mom passed - and today would have been Daddy's 78th birthday, had he not died in May - how I miss them - beautifully penned - tears are running down my face from the power in these lines - well done, Linda -

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.

It is funny and sometimes a little wonderful that we can feel our mother's presence (or sometimes our fathers) even when years have eaten up the memories we had. My own mother has been gone almost thirty years and yet I still feel I hear her singing or looking at me with love and understanding as if it were only yesterday, and yea damn it my own teardrops have started too...
hugs

That's okay Bonnie... I cried when I wrote it too...that's why I plastered my usual smiling face on the poem....to remind me not to cry... People only see me smile...except on here!...... lindalaw

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
