No blame! I’d say, no blame in so far as blaming my parents for whatever or for any reason my life has not become as I wish. Never browbeaten, never beaten, thoroughly loved knowing, though, swats on my ass when deserved. Even if hated told to eat that that was good for me. Bed time bed time even if not wanting to go to bed. No phony rewards! No shelved trophies for loosing, for when I lost I lost. Chores known chores completed. Far from rich never poor never without that that was needed. Clothing handed from older cousin to me. Second-hand bike my cherished prize. Play in the alleys worse crime breaking a plate glass window with a swatted ball. No blame to my parents. My life designed by only myself. No blame to my parents. No! No blame at all!

Another wonderful work Markie. We are what we make ourselves. Too many people blame their parents for their failures.

I so agree with you on this one, coming from a family with nine children bordering on poverty I know just what you are saying. All too often these days teens, young adults and even grown ups find every excuse in the book to lay blame anywhere except where it should be laid ... on their own shoulders.
