I Read the News Today, Oh Boy by Tova Gabrielle I heard the news today, Oh boy, About a lucky cop who got away With shooting first at peaceful folk And then at union guys down at the docks of Oakland, ahhh, ahhhh, ahhh, ahhhh! Ahhh, ahhh, ahhh, Ahh, ahhh, ahhh! Cops killed Woody, my son's friend* ... a Vermont church, Just after 9/11, He'd known some things he shouldn't have about the government, that made them mad "Ma...ry... I love you!" he'd screamed, and fell. Ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, AHHHH AHHHH AHHHHH AHHHHH! A crowd of 18 stood and stared, They watched him fall as cops shot seven more Cops screamed "all out" but few would go, cuz Woody cried for witnesses, begged them to stay Ahhh ahhh ahhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh, ahhhh!! On my friend Mary's machine, I heard his screams ...a cell phone of someone in that church "Political Assasination!" he did cry, he'd had them call her number, he'd loved her with all his might... AHHH, AHHHH AHHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AH! AHHH, AHHHH AHHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AH! I went to protest INS South Asians, Muslims, Pakis had to register I grabbed the bull horn from one guy "it�s happnin here, folks, so you'd better care! No more is it "them, over there" No more can you afford not to be aware! AHHH, AHHH, AHHHH, AHHHH!! You'd better HEAR you'd better feel, you'd better see, THIS IS REAL. And to a man accross the street, Who screamed to send the immigrants back home "We are all immigrants, here! who but the Native Americans, can call this our own?" I heard the news today, Oh boy, The US army can not win this war, Although that is what they will claim, We've lost Democracy, it's Heart, and Soul AHHHH, AHHHH, AHHHHH, AHHH, AHHH, AHHHH, AHHH AHHHH, AHHHH, AHHHHH, AHHH, AHHH, AHHHH, AHHH I heard the news today, Oh boy, The US army even hated Bush He blew our souls out on this war And now we wait to see who else will push But we let him in, with a coup, we let him win! So now it's up to us to take it back We let him in and we can Push him out, What other choice do we now have But to save the rest from him And Save this land? AHHH AHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH AHHHH! Hey, great stuff, I asked Alex to add music to it, let's put all of them together and send the whole thing to Bush and Blair, although I doubt that they will ever listen or read, it especially our monster of a prez.

it appears that attacks on people's character has replaced rational arguement --- maybe the us really has fallen -- didn't think the rot could ever get that far...

Those dirtbag shit-for-brains US soldiers who are shooting, bombing and maiming Iraqi women and children are just like those cops who shot Woody. And they will use any lie to cover their cowardly asses. And I'm sure the flag-waving morons with welcome them with medals and flowers. Support the troops? To hell with them. They are not protecting anyone. They are just killing innocents, so that Bush and company can get their hands on Iraqi oil. Thank you. Dennis Miller.
