Crimes of pride,
and chimeran dreams,
spawn inelegant complexity--
They rise from the gallactic abyss
in rags of false hope.
Religion damns the soul
as does philosophy,
with expectations
that the human heart
can do anything but
surrender.
The created strives for dissolution
or fussion with creation.
Such a low objective.
I shall reduce myself to unity
with the creator instead.
and sit at his feet
staring at the footstool
