Tribute to Mim Sharlach- Poet, Entertainer, Dancer (Moulan Rouge), worked with Liberace and Red Skelton, bit actor in Hitchcock movies, award winning skater, Miss Muscle Beach 1949.She suggested to young man named Robert Zimmerman to Change his name (Bob Dylan)While she was beating her drums in coffe houses. She lived life to the fullest.

Shalom Ode to Mim c2013, Jim Stewart Shalom, My friend, Shalom My menorah is missing a candle. A voice has been silenced Yet it is still heard. But, I have had the pleasure Of knowing this voice. I am proud to have been a vagabond visitor On your journey through life. The memories might be failing But, The pictures are bright and clear. I will grieve for myself, My loss And celebrate your new life. Knowing that you are still beating a drum And realizing, Your Verdante. This brings a smile to my face. Shalom, My Friend, Shalom.
