Little Brown Church

The little brown church stood many years
They shut down the old church today.
Yep, Just shut the door.
sign said,"Gone Fishing."

Isn't it funny, that's the way Jesus started.
Gathering a bunch of fishermen.
Said that old chuch was loosing money
It seems like that old church lost it's soul.

People grew up in that church.
Baptised in that church, sang in that choir
Ushered and built up that Little Brown Church.
That now lies silent.

We're gonna miss that church,
The stained glass window,
Mr. Wright snoring in the corner
The friends we made.

The doors might have locked us out of that
"Little Brown Church"
But, the "Little Brown Church."
Won't be locked out in me.
