In the gray haven of my thoughts
I seem to dwell in poetic embrace.
Shall there be numbers sought
I pause in wonder seeking a place.

Rhythmic expressions hide in me
In longing for a verse melodious.
Poetic words in time you see ...
Be not melodically harmonious.

Challenge offset me as I wait
Silence is displayed so loudly.
I am not solely black nor white
But noted composing proudly.

The colours of my manner expand
When friendly assignment is made.
Scribing within my mind in hand
Perchance read established ... unafraid.

Set my thoughts within pandemonium
Searching enriched keen perfection.
I am constant within my continuum
Within offers aiding your selection.

Yet, I disembark from styles sought
Difference! I seek to claim my name
Form of Most ... is never taught
Never bending so to be ... The Same
