A chronically ill boy did his best to keep up much healthier children at summer camp. He won a medal for being the "best sport" because he missed out on a lot of activities the other children participated in and bravely endured questionable treatment.

Well he got the medal for the best sport
It doesn't mean he can run real fast
But when he stood in line he never complained about being last
To speak up would be my first reaction
No one can take advantage of me

He got cuts and bruises when he fell a time or two
But there was always someone watching over him
