       each day we're together

       each color of a rose
       has a different meaning
       the first day we meet

       a 'lilac' rose if it was love at first sight
      'peach' stands for modesty or shyness
       a 'white' rose comes from a secret admirer
      'pink' is thank-you, I am grateful
      for who you are, or what
      you've done for me 
      I would give you an 'orange' rose
      for rays of friendship in the in the day
      to brighten up stressful moments in life
      a 'lavender' rose is for an enchanted feeling
      a 'black' rose, (yes, there are black roses),
      stands for death and farewell
      I could never give a black rose to anyone
      the 'red' rose stands for sincere love
      within romantic feelings from my heart
      when I find you I will give you a rose
      for everyday we're together 
      hopefully, we would never part
      a rose is more than a flower
