Interesting to think around the idea of “circle.” Many would argue we construct our own future in circles...sometimes endless.

Dream-Circles Cinching
by Odin Roark
From orbital observation
Warning of whirlpool threat
Time plays back history
Creatures circling
Prey
Wagons
Partners
Themselves
An enigma of many faces this
Rope stretching
Reeling in rewards
Rope extending
Tethering effects from lose
Rope bargaining
Offering breath or suffocation by defeat
Even family circles
Biological
Digi-tizacal
Imagin-izable
Iso-maginable
Share the threat
This closed end existence
Continually evolving
Stay awake we must
For roundel
Wheel
Diadem
Halo
Holding to radius‘s appetite
Succumbs easily to closing
Yet
Staying fearful
Of enclosures we engineer
The cummerbund of pleasure
The arena of threat
The embrace of dreams
Only begs to awaken
To its natural
Place
Moment
Patience beckons
Dream-circles tighten
Goading consciousness
To rise up
Be
After all
What dreams are not
Is but the It imagination knows
Carefully revealing discreetly
All the rules
All the variations
Of perception’s wily game
We try to smile
Yet
The lasso even in its forgiving
To those who allow
Remains ever mindful
Pain
Pleasure
Anticipation
Most importantly
Consciousness
Refuses to disappear
Prick you finger
A simple pin will do.
The dream-circle is cinching
