Anxiety Addiction
Anxiety
is but a blip in time and space
like footsteps floating above the sand
beneath a sometimes overwhelming eclipse
tiny grains of buried discomfort
patiently await
tentative steps
aware grounding may never come
For
precious few
regain sound footing
While others
with balance revived
darkness is for now removed
Regrettably
for most
careless stumbling bodes habit
Even as
the perpetual passage of shadow
aware of precarious traction
makes apparent its cyclic custom
across
within
our forever hourglass
Soon
another rotation begins
the clock resets
another interval commences
Time knows
Time waits
Time is
bud
Great insight into human perception. Now I ask you, should I take another cruise?
