Ageless Innocence

To know of hummingbird stillness,
To feel the pine needle crunch beneath winter snows,
To hear the embracing stretch of pistils weeping,
To see infinite jest in tenuous clouds trembling,
To touch a pebble strewn beach with a child’s curiosity…

Such is to sense a rebirth of childhood,
a gathering of wisdom through ageless innocence,
and the wonderment of time’s nurturing patience.
