Inevitable
Loss happens
Yet…
Such intervals seek rest
For occasion understands
Whether break-up wake or memorial
Inevitably one’s heart pumps empty chambers of loneliness
Even as wisdom knows exhaustion is but a residual of life’s tenacity
Forced interims usher in conscious awareness
While terminal loss weeps quiet tears hesitantly exposed
Might one’s precious celebratory loss be
But the need for accepting time as friend?
To those who say there is no end
The enigma is yours
Love ya!
