So Many Ways...

by Odin odin@aflx.com — Read all 3,869 poems by Odin odin@aflx.com

After a harrowing two weeks of evacuation consciousness, I’m reminded that science knows so little of what comes next, and religion with all its supernatural answers, the interminable quandary remains: Answers only beg more questions. (Image by Jacek)

Poem Artwork

So Many Ways…

To live

To die

To be

Or

Not to be

Today, let me spread my wings of joy

And soar up like an eagle

And when it’s time

Let me float down like the ash I will become

To my place of pause

Where my modified existence

Will discover its next iteration

Perhaps with Time’s alternate universe

Or

Whatever sublime attachment eternity has in store
