Who am I? Where am I supposed to be? I've lost myself in this world. I need to be set free. I don't know where I belong, Where is it I can sing? Someplace others can hear my song, I need to be set free. No matter what comes my way, What joy my life might bring, Alone at the end of the day, I need to be set free. Everybody busy or down. My world so cold, so lonely, Happiness rarely around, Somebody set me free. Embrace me with your warmth, Love me as I am, Help me find my place, Somebody, please set me free! Don't you see me whither? All I want is to shine! I know where I will be someone! Once I am set free. When I find my way, To my place, I will be happy, Don't cry, don't worry about me, Because I will be set free. I will have my wings! I will sing my song! Joy and happiness now surround me, For I have been set free!

Very nicely penned, Gean. I agree that most of us spend a lifetime searching for that place we fit. I believe true happiness and fulfillment come if we look hard enough and have the courage to keep on looking. Great job!

Everybody busy or down.
My world so cold, so lonely,
Happiness rarely around,
Somebody set me free.
Embrace me with your warmth,
Love me as I am,
