Death, be my name

I am the dream that lingers when you wake
And stays just beyond your reach
The specter that wanders aimlessly
Do you need the lesson I teach?

I am the one who sings in the night
And watches over all
The one whose questions go unanswered
Did you hear my call?

Beautiful ethereal pice...again your words would provide a wonderful backdrop for a painting...and again, painter Augusto Sanchez comes to mind...

that siren call that we have to both heed and ignore. you certainly captured its insistent nature, but also the fact that we shouldn't fear it.
