When I lived in TX, in the middle of the desert, it always felt so surreal and special. I always felt closest to the earth there and that mystical paths were just beyond my reach. It felt this way especially when walking through all the caves embe dded in the anicient canyon walls.
Drastic changes,
entered too soon,
but now they are creatures,
of a lost soul,
dancing of hate,
gleeful, and wretched,
twirling of dreams untold.
Floating on a gentle breeze,
a road of faerie...
away from deathly creatures so ill,
unto the world of truth.
Speak now,
or they will not listen...
tell them of a dream so found.
Tell them of dust and escape,
maybe then they will hear you out.
Sunlight reaches a forgotten glen,
but there you are,
there you stand...
Wander here you did,
but how...
where...
when...
A story unfolds,
within a dream,
and you wandered there,
just to see...
and now you have seen the sun arise,
here you stand...
Here you may die.
Escape,
and the faerie road will open,
to escort you away...
to take you to a dreamer's land,
to save you from this stagnant day.
Tell all,
Hush your quivering heart,
they can hear you now,
speak...
and all will then be known...
Bring your soul back to dreams,
don't let the faerie road escape you!
Let it guide you...
to a beauty enough to blind,
away from those hateful creatures of night...
To a real beginning and sun rise,
Speak now!
Tell them of life!
