Keeping friendship alive

Within the books hidden in the bind

The definition we find

The defining line between he and she

The she and she

Be that he or we

For each we speak

The one who you call when all is wrong

The enjoyment of it all with love no fall

Quiet in the back of our minds are they going to say it

Will this destroy friendship should we try?

To extent the lines, we choose to stand behind

Ever so slyly from the words that I write thee

When drunk you excite me

In conversation it surprise me

How without even trying

Only you can describe me

The one no one else sees

The secrets that we keep

With advice, we revise thee

Instructions of the guiding

For the friends, lovers, and wives

Giving all others who have been contented

To pretend and prevent it

The interruption of a friend

Cause without them

Who will grin and cry when we send

The message of truth from within

Exposing the lows of those, we chose

One another in our roles

The ones we cannot let go

Transpose it all with this it falls

Bet it all

Of the expressions and gores

The ones we try to adore

Even when we want more
