Kentucky is the Answer!

Poem Artwork

Kentucky has the hard stuff,

the horsepower too.  If America's

economic woes try to poison us,

we can rear back and spit it back

out. St. Louis can relax too;  just

like  Milwaukee. The grapes

of wrath and wine of California

will mix and meld and help mankind

cope. Here, horses and happy sauce will

emerge on the scene at dusk like bats.

We are what America needs. People may

learn to ride again. Some from afar

will crave that sip of whiskey to help

loosen their jaws. Here in the mountains,

you can buy moonshine mixed with Kool-Aid,

and folks raise sturdy children and horses.

The wilderness

is our home. You may wish for this.

I lovedit. So captures the essence of Kentucky. The photograph made me smile.

Welcome! The poems in this beautifully bound book are a result of over twenty years of observations. Observations of the world around us and on the telecommunications network. All of the hate, love, heroism, disasters, and those who help. Beautif
