What have you taken away?
A smothering indistinctness of sickness
as perceptions creep.
Once we drank of paradise,
virginal and childlike,
but your desire died.
A furious vision of memory;
thoughts follow death, follow darkness,
love dissolved.
In a haze of hatred,
I condemn you.
Do I deserve this eternal expiration?
God has taken away the pain.
I condemn your spiritual approach,
I condemn your emotion.
Love, you rendered but death is better.
I thank you.
My soul is preserved
from death deserved.
Once love was vacant
but now reserved.
What have you done?
A miasma of betrayal
as memories diminish.
Once we experienced paradise,
hand in hand and untainted,
but your love perished.
A deadened morass of bitterness;
memories follow hate, follow memory,
love condemned.
In a storm of vengeance,
I condemn you.
