Poem from 2005 The character in this was based on a stalker character I wrote for an early novel. I buried the book, but liked the poem.
I feel your heart racing In the still night Your breath Illuminates what I long for Your tense body Is what I lean to I want to hear your lungs Rise and collapse in fear I want to run my hands Through your tattered hair I want you to fear Breath deeper, Run faster, Release the fear inside, For it is now child It is now that we are ready For the real ride.
