Poem Artwork

Like a prism...the sun shines in the skies

Lavender glints sparkle in your eyes

Rays gently intensify to a bright glow

Lavender shadows light and dark...will show

Three sides of color...shining and bright

Welcoming the early morning light

Dancing rainbows streak across the land

Making lavender diamonds with the sand

 .

Lavenders soft fragrance will enhance your soul

Making your heart shine and  love to grow

Open up an avenue within...don't be afraid to let go

Your inner beauty will begin to show

Lavender is such a soft, warm color and your words are in tune with the color. Good write.

The perfume and colour of lavender
have just invaded and it's the finest
invasion for a long while..how words,
beautiful words can stir and touch!
Kathleen, this is splendid.

Lovely words, lovely poem, Hazel Eyes. There are so many shades to lavender and the prism of your words covers them all.

Full of delightful imagery.
My grandpa always carried lavender with him. When he came to stay, he'd be given my bed, whilst i slept top to tail with a sibling. After he left I tell my parents not to change the bed, and fall asleep smelling the lavender on my bed.
Indeed, lavender is as beautiful as your write. Right!
