But it is the journey in-between

That makes our lives worth living

As we grow from one stage of life to another

We weave our own path along the way

With everything we do and everything we say

.

Some will take the winding road

To see all that they can see

While others stay on one path

Afraid of what might be

Round the next bend could be an adventure

One that make us happy

Or bring us to our knees

.

But if you do not take that chance

Than what would life be

Each day the same old grind

No excitement along the way

I chose to wander down the winding road

And gather what I may
