I'M THEIR LOVECHILD A girl and a boy fell in love years ago They vowed that their love would grow and grow They drifted together and you know, I’M THEIR LOVE CHILD They dreamed they’d be free to live every day With laughter and music, in nature to play Happy and carefree, that was their way I’M THEIR LOVE CHILD Oh, how they grooved in a world filled with roses, Stereo and pot, and everything high, I found some snapshots with faded poses Of them holding me – I could cry He drifted off, left her on her own They found him O-D’d in a room by a phone Before taking pills she left me in a home I’M THEIR LOVE CHILD I’M THEIR LOVE CHILD
