Coming Home
I watch the sun as it rises upon you
Such beauty painted by God’s hand
Your blue sky alive with the silent voices of the ages
From your holy mountains to your spiritual mesas
Surely God has kissed your land
The sweetness of your air; the breath of the Great Spirit
Your flowers and waterfalls; the secret gifts within the desert
The richness of your deep red earth; portrait images against the horizon
The music of the pan flute floats softly amid the sunbeams
As my spirit folds into you and I find peace within your embrace
Your essence occupies my being, my dreams
Called to you as if this were a holy place
Or a land I once traveled a lifetime ago
A rare, natural beauty; you must be God’s poetry
New Mexico, my home

Blessed are those that can see and feel the beauty of their surroundings and sing it with the voice of the soul.
"Coming Home" says it in full with art and wonders.
