I sometimes can't remember what happened yesterday But everything of you who happened long ago, is poised -- my summons to obey Often thoughts come unbidden Like the feel of your embrace Words heard again, as once you stroked my face And marveled at my skin Your fascination of my whim and your pride in what was me Overplus, and yet who could not be pleased, With the touch of it again
