Comforting Muse

Come, my muse

amuse me

Make me look my best

Say you won't

refuse me

not upon this day

For you are my

salvation,

my comfort

and release

When all the world

forsakes me

I have  you to

bring me peace

If not for you

what would I say,

and who would

I say it to

My heart would

surely burst,

my life's blood

flow away

without my muse

to amuse the you,

with whom I

spend the day
