On the abiding matter of full moon madness...
Restless turnings in the night Can't seem to get it right Oh what a familiar fright Your ever-surreal luminous light Why pester me so With every full cycle of that bewitching glow Expecting me to know Whither Cupid's useless bow Stop flirting with your translucent charms Haven't you spawned sufficient harm Evoking memories of embracing arms And happy days that surely warmed Allowed me deserved pause to rest End these silent stalking tests I do concede and willingly confess I'm no match for your eternal jests! --Carolyn Gale McGovern-Bowen, Westlake Village, CA 07/30/04 Copyright 2004 by Carolyn Gale McGovern-Bowen. Carolyn...I loved every line of this!
The full moon has always affected me, all my life.
Some of my best works were composed during the full
moon, when I couldn't sleep.
Or is that just part of my Bi-Polar syndrome?
