How you remind me...hiding under the table cloth kool-aid stand with my red-hair girlfriend eating sugar cubes and smiling at the prospect of a sleepover...kool-aid smiles, love beads, black velvet chokers, black gummed picture corners, incense, peppermint, hoot owls and blooming sage grew up!

Carolyn, they say its better to run so as to live another day… lol. That mouse must have learnt that too… lol. Loved the visuals, my friend! Must agree with Poet Jason Wise. Thanks for sharing. Take care and be well.

A lucky mouse indeed...not many survive the silent swoop of the owl on its prey...

In the Whirlwind by Tichaona Chinyelu

In the Whirlwind is a poetic storm that frees history from the cages of corruption and puts it in the hands of everyday people. Words are weaved into a new fashion statement that has nothing to do with runways but everything to do with projects!
