Well penned...there is nothingness without Blessed Stillness...then becomes Pristine Nothingness.

Carolyn,

how difficult it can be to still that mind..to slow the racing thoughts...you've expressed the need for calm in a wonderful precise way.

School children have a recess.
Workers have a coffee break.
Stressed-out citizens need a time of blessed stillness where nothing is happening but breathing.
Easier said than done, but with a little practice you can bring yourself back to awareness of breathing, only, and the mind rejoices in the silent, unspoken refrain of "Pristine Nothingness" and is Free at Last.

A very pleasing 7-5-7 offering quiet imagery and suggestion.

Sounds like bliss, though difficult, perhaps, to achieve and even more impossible to maintain. But even the merest hint of such a pristine canvas would be worth the mental detox. TY for these stilling thoughts. K xx

Oh yes nothing like it. I do
the meditation method, the
breathing really works. Also
I do some Yoga, also works.
Great message!

I agree with the concept of your Haiku "To empty the mind is to set one free....." Sometimes is is so hard to do when problems peek into our lives.

the DREAM conquers all...
spiritual reverie when I need...

stilled and knowing, the liberation of it all,
