I think intuitive judgment (perception) drives mental alertness (consciousness). For me personally, image is two-dimensional, vision is three-dimensional - a method I use to study creativity is to intentionally distort perception. I adapt this into my art of poetry and storytelling - I employ "Body English" and sensory communication through my skin - interesting? Aswirl is a perception poem in that through this process I use, I take your poem and through sensory communication, I present light through my skin through a prism, rather than presenting lights and sound to the eye and ear, thus, Aswirl is transferred from the outside to the inside by my presenting stimuli through my skin. The storm clouds which produce the sound of thunder is now "heard" inner, not by the ear, the sunny world infused with gray is now "seen" through colors of the "inner soul" not by the eyes...I do these studies constantly through the anaglyphoscope, 3-D glasses to meditate on binocular fusion - you have seen those binocular optical illusions when viewed through red and green filters, so these random dot images do "dance" Aswirl, and I do "see" clear skies beyond gathered clouds...sharing my meditation in perception...when the world is at tilt, distortion - how we adapt...
