Yes, Carl Jung did more or less obliterate that peaceful equilibrum folks once enjoyed by founding analytical psychology. Now, it seems sometimes we have all become analytical machines analyzing everything we and others do and say. I rather like the old way such as expessed in your poem where we are peacefully at the center of what we say and do.
